Good place to buy beans and rice?
 

Can anyone tell me a good place to buy beans and rice? Whether that's an online company or a store I could go to locally? I live in a city with around 200,000 pop. so we have most stores. I just don't really know where to look, I've tried searching online.

I'm not doing it just for "prep", although that's a nice bonus. Just trying to cut my food costs down a bit and stop eating out so much, and it'll be healthier for me. But heck I love eating beans and rice anyway. Any help appreciated, thanks!

Sams Club and Costco usually have beans and rice. If you want superpails already made up for you, then www.beprepared.com or waltonfeed should be able to fix you up.

My Sams is great for rice, but they don't have dried beans or canned beans, only bush's baked beans.

The sams here always has pinto beans in bulk. Maybe because of the mexican restraunts here.

I'd like to get black beans in bulk. Much better than pinto. Anyone?

I have not seen them anywhere, and we like them as well. Fortunately we are able to get ours through the LDS storehouse/cannery. I am guessing a restaurant supply may be the only way.

Let me know what you find out about this. I have been looking for alternate bulk sources as well.

Try your local food co-operative...mine has 25# bags...
